5 Must-Do Morning Routines to Immediately Boost Your Day
With the new morning routine, you can kiss goodbye to the drowsy mornings and say hello to refreshing starts that will boost your day. After being inspired by the Miracle Morning, I decided to whip up my personal morning routine in hopes of achieving level 10 in different aspects of life. Feel free to incorporate other practices into your morning routine if it can help boost productivity.
Here I share with you my usual practice every morning.
1. Dynamic Warm-up
Only recently did I learn that static stretching before you exercise doesn’t actually prevent injury. In fact, you might end up hurting your tendons and jointed doing static stretching. Instead of the usual stretching routine, we should aim to warm-up our muscles by doing dynamic warm-ups. Once our body is all warmed up, feel free to do some static stretching too.
Some dynamic stretching examples:
- Arm circles
- Side bends
- Toe touches
- Chest stretches
- Hip swing stretches
2. Mindfulness Meditation
Being mindful means you become more focused and aware of the present moment. By practicing meditation regularly, we can become more mindful in our daily life. Some of the benefits of mindfulness include lowering stress levels, improving one’s emotional intelligence and well-being while enhancing creativity.

3. Read a book
Reading is still one of my favorite ways to learn and gain more knowledge. Even though just a few clicks away, we can find all the information we need thanks to the internet, I find it extremely hard to believe everything I find on the web. However, books never fail you. Just a few hours with a quality book, you can change your life and even achieve personal success.
Some great books to read include Think and Grow Rich, What Got You Here Won’t Get You There, and The Intelligent Investor.
4. Visualize
A great way to get started is to know where you’re heading. For anyone new to visualizing, let’s start small. Spend a few minutes each morning to visualize how your day will go and what you plan to achieve by the end of the day. As you continue this morning practice, you can move on to visualize bigger goals and greater success.
Examples of successful people who used the power of visualization to their advantage include Jim Carrey, Oprah Winfrey, and Lindsey Vonn.
5. Journal
Journaling can be extremely helpful if you use it right. From enhancing your creativity and understanding yourself better to goal setting and planning your priorities. Writing down your goals is just as important as visualizing your success.
By writing it down and breaking it into smaller steps, it becomes clear what needs to be done. Make plans, set deadlines, and take action so you can achieve your goal.
To Summarize
By incorporating these 5 must-do morning routines into your usual practice, you can spend more time working towards your goal while keeping your body in shape. All these practices can increase your productivity levels and significantly boost your day. Don’t forget to share your results with your family and friends so they can improve their lives and reach their goals too!
